Great Barr Street, Bordesley closure

From Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th March 2026, between 7pm and 5am, Great Barr Street will be closed from Watery Lane Middleway to Liverpool Street for resurfacing works. During this time, services 97 & 97A will be diverted.

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Garrison Lane, Garrison Circus, first exit Watery Lane Middleway, Bordesley Circus, fifth exit Watery Lane Middleway, left Adderley Street, right Liverpool Street, and left Heath Mill Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood/Airport
Buses will divert from Heath Mill Lane, right Liverpool Street, left Adderly Street, left Watery Lane Middleway, Garrison Circus, and third exit Garrison Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.
