Gregory Avenue, Weoley Castle closure

From Monday 1st to Friday 5th June 2026, between 9.30am and 3.30pm, Gregory Avenue will be closed from Shenley Lane to Weoley Castle Road for tree works. During this time, services 48 & X21 will be diverted.

Service 48

Heading towards Northfield

Buses will be diverted from Weoley Castle Road, third exit Castle Road, right Shenley Fields Road, and left Shenley Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards West Bromwich

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.

Service X21

Heading towards Bartley Green

Buses will be diverted from Weoley Castle Road, third exit Castle Road, right Shenley Fields Road, right Shenley Lane, and left Long Nuke Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
