Gregory Avenue, Weoley Castle closure

On Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th April 2026, from 9.30am to 2.30pm, Gregory Avenue will be closed between Shenley Lane and Weoley Castle Road for highway works. During this time, services 48 & X21 will be diverted.

Service 48

Heading towards Northfield

Buses will divert from Weoley Castle Road, third exit Castle Road, right Shenley Fields Road, and left Shenley Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards West Bromwich

Buses will follow the reverse of the above.

Service X21

Heading towards Bartley Green

Buses will divert from Weoley Castle Road, third exit Castle Road, right Shenley Fields Road, right Shenley Lane, and left Long Nuke Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will follow the reverse of the above.
