Heartlands Parkway, Nechells closure

From 10pm on Friday 24th to 5.30am on Monday 27th April 2026, Heartlands Parkway will be closed at the junction of Aston Church Road for HS2 works. During this time, services X12 & X13 will follow either of the below diversions.

Diversion one

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will divert from Bromford Lane via Tyburn Road and Aston Expressway to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.

Diversion two

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will divert from Farnhurst Road, continue Drews Lane, right Washwood Heath Road, and right Saltley Viaduct to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will divert from Saltey Viaduct, left Washwood Heath Road, left Drews Lane, left Bromford Lane, and right Bromford Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
