Heathland Avenue, Shard End closure

On Friday 22nd May 2026, from 9am to 3pm, Heathland Avenue will be closed between Bradford Road and the Heathway for IIP LED lighting works. During this time, service 96 will be diverted.

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood

Buses will be diverted from Newport Road, second exit Coleshill Road, left Heathway, and right Buckland End to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Castle Vale

Buses will be diverted from Buckland End, left Heathway, right Coleshill Road, u-turn at Bucklands End Lane roundabout, return Coleshill Road, and left Newport Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
