Lancaster Street & Lancaster Circus Underpass, Birmingham closure

On Tuesday 19th May 2026, from 10pm to 5am, Lancaster Street, in one direction, and Lancaster Circus Underpass, in both directions, will be closed for lighting works. During this time, services 33, 51, 907, 936, 937, 997, 998 & X51 will be diverted.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will be diverted from New Town Row, left Newtown Middleway, continue Dartmouth Circus, third exit Aston Road, and continue Lancaster Circus to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will be diverted from James Watt Queensway, left Lancaster Circus, and second exit Lancaster Street to rejoin the normal line of route.
