Meadway, Lea Hall closure

On Friday 20th March 2026, from 9.30am until 11am, Meadway will be closed between Gossey Lane and Lea Hall Road for highway furniture repair works. During this time, services 72, 97 & 97A will be diverted.

Service 72
Heading towards Solihull
Buses will divert from Mackadown Lane, continue Kitts Green Road, left Church Lane, left Lea Hall Road, and second exit Garretts Green Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood
Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Services 97 & 97A
Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from East Meadway, right Kitts GReen Road, left Church Lane, left Lea Hall Road, and third exit Meadway to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood/Airport
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
