Meadway, Lea Hall closure
On Thursday 8th January 2026, from 9.30am until 10.45am, Meadway will be closed between Gossey Lane and Lea Hall Road for highway furniture repair works. During this time, services 72, 97 & 97A will be diverted.
Service 72
Heading towards Solihull
Buses will divert from Mackadown Lane via Kitts Green Road, Church Lane, Lea Hall Road, and Garretts Green Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Chelmsley Wood
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
Services 97 & 97A
Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from East Meadway via Kitts Green Road, Church Lane, Lea Hall Road, and Meadway to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Chelmsley Wood/Birmingham Airport
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
