Saltley Road, Nechells closure

On Saturday 2nd May 2026, from 9pm to 5am, Saltley Road will be closed between Goodrick Way and Heartlands Parkway for highway repairs. During this time, services 8A, 8C, 14, 94, 95, X12 & X13 will be diverted.

Services 8A & 8C

8A heading from Aston

Buses will divert from Saltley Viaduct, right Heartlands Parkway, first exit Aston Church Road, left Nechells Park Road, left Goodrick Way, and u-turn at Nechells Parkway roundabout to rejoin the normal line of route.

8C heading from Aston

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.

Service 14

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood

Buses will divert from Great Francis Street, left Melvina Road, second exit Goodrick Way, third exit Nechells Park Road, right Aston Church Road, third exit Heartlands Parkway, and first exit Saltley Viaduct to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.

Services 94 & 95

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood

Buses will divert from Nechells Parkway roundabout, first exit Goodrick Way, third exit Nechells Park Road, right Aston Church Road, third exit Heartlands Parkway, and first exit Saltley Viaduct to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.

Services X12 & X13

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will divert from Heartlands Parkway, third exit Aston Church Road, left Nechells Park Road, left Goodrick Way, and continue to Nechells Parkway roundabout to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
