Snow Hill Queensway, Birmingham City Centre closure

From 7am on Saturday 14th until 7pm on Sunday 15th March 2026, Snow Hill Queensway will be closed between St Chads Queensway and Colmore Circus Queensway for a crane lift. During this time, services 7, 9, 12, 13, 16, 52, 74, 101, 126, X8 & X10 will be diverted.

Services 7 & 52

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will divert from Colmore Row, continue Colmore Circus, left Weaman Street, left Whittall Street, left St Chads Queensway, and rejoin the normal line of route after the junction with Snow Hill Queensway.

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Services 9, 12, 13, 101, 126, X8 & X10

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Great Charles Street Queensway, u-turn at Snow Hill junction, return Great Charles Street Queensway, left Livery Street and right Colmore Row.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Services 16 & 74

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Old Snow Hill, right Great Charles Street Queensway, left Livery Street, left Colmore Row, continue Colmore Circus Queensway, serve stop SQ8 and rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will divert from Priory Queensway, right Weaman Street, left Whittall Street, left St Chads Queensway, and rejoin the normal line of route after the junction with Snow Hill Queensway.
