Spon Lane, Smethwick closure
From Monday 16th February to Sunday 26th April 2026, Spon Lane will be closed in one direction for water main upgrade works. During this time, services 48, 49 & 80 will be diverted.
Heading towards West Bromwich
Buses will divert from Spon Lane South, second exit Trinity Way, left High Street, and left West Bromwich Ringway to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading from West Bromwich
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
