Springfield Road, Sparkbrook closure

On Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th May 2026, from 9.30am to 3pm, Springfield Road will be closed between Stratford Road and College Road for IIP LED lighting works. During this time, services 1 & 41 will be diverted.

Service 1

Heading towards Acocks Green

Buses will continue along Wake Green Road, left Cole Bank Road, continue Cole Bank Road, left Stratford Road, right Cateswell Road, and right Shaftmoor Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Five Ways

Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Service 41

Heading towards Acocks Green

Buses will continue along Wake Green Road, left Cole Bank Road, continue Cole Bank Road, left Stratford Road, and continue Stratford Road to rejoin the normal line of route after the junction with Springfield Road.

Heading towards QE Hospital

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
