Stafford Street, Walsall closure

On Thursday 14th May 2026, from 8pm to 6am, Stafford Street will be closed at the junction with Littleton Street West for carriageway works. During this time, services 29, 31, 32 & X51 will be diverted.

Service 29

Heading towards Walsall

Buses will be diverted from Proffit Street, right Bloxwich Road, left Leamore Lane, left Green Lane, continue Green Lane, left Townend Street, and second exit St Paul’s Street to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Walsall

Buses will be diverted from St Paul’s Street, first exit Townend Street, right Green Lane, right Court Way, and left Stafford Street to rejoin the normal line of route.

Services 31, 32 & X51

Heading towards Walsall

Buses will be diverted from Bloxwich Road, left Leamore Lane, left Green Lane, continue Green Lane, left Townend Street, and second exit St Paul’s Street to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Walsall

Buses will be diverted from St Paul’s Street, first exit Townend Street, right Green Lane, right Court Way, and left Stafford Street to rejoin the normal line of route.
