Tile Cross Road, Tile Cross closure

On Monday 23rd March 2026, from 9.30am to 3pm, Tile Cross Road will be closed at Bell Lane roundabout for highway works. During this time, services 14, 17, 17A & 72 will be diverted.

Service 14

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood
Buses will divert from St Giles Road, left Shirestone Road, right Tile Cross Road, and left Bosworth Drive to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Chelmsley Wood
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.

Services 17 & 17A

Heading from Birmingham
Buses will continue along The Radleys, and right Bell Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.

Service 72

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood
Buses will divert from St Giles Road, left Shirestone Road, right Tile Cross Road, left Bosworth Drive, right Chapelhouse Road, right Gloucester Way, right Moorend Avenue, and right Station Road to rejoin the normal line of route at Marston Green Station.

Heading towards Solihull
Buses will divert from Marston Green Station, right Station Road, left Alcott Lane, continue Moorend Avenue, left Gloucester Way, left Chapelhouse Road, left Bosworth Drive, right Tile Cross Road, left Shirestone Road, and right St Giles Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
