Lockdown Restrictions

From Tuesday 5 January 2021, Dundee will join the rest of mainland Scotland in entering new lockdown restrictions. These will remain in place until further notice is given from the Scottish Government.

Once network changes take effect from Sunday 24 January 2021, timetables will be designed to ensure we have enough capacity to safely support physical distancing. New lockdown restrictions mean you should only travel with us for essential trips:

Going to work
Shopping for necessities
Caring for relatives or medical needs

Don't forget: stopping the spread starts with you. So please remember to wear a face covering (unless a valid medical exemption applies), and follow Scottish Government guidance on how to look after yourself and others.

Road Closure - Clepington Road

Closed for three weeks from Monday 8 February 2021 (between Provost Road and Balgray Street) - EXTENDED FURTHER

Service 18 towards Claverhouse - Normal route to Clepington Road, then via: Graham Street - Kingsway and then normal route from Old Glamis Road

Service 18 towards City Centre (daily, between 0800 and 1800) - Normal route to Old Glamis Road, then via: Barnes Avenue, Graham Street and then normal route from Clepington Road

Service 18 towards City Centre (daily, before 0800 and after 1800) - Normal route to Old Glamis Road, then via: Provost Road, Dens Road and then normal route

Service 23 Woodside circular - Normal route to Provost Road, then via: Old Glamis Road, Barnes Avenue and then normal route from Woodside Terrace

Road Issue - Turnberry Avenue

Temporary diversions from 22 February 2021 due to deteriorating potholes

Service 1 towards St Marys - Normal route to Macalpine Road, then turn at Americanmuir roundabout, return via Macalpine Road, Staffa Place, Rosemount Road, Dalmahoy Drive and then normal route.

Service 1 towards City Centre - Normal route to Dalmahoy Drive, then continue via Rosemount Road, Staffa Place, Macalpine Road, turn at Americanmuir roundabout and then normal route from Macalpine Fire Station.

Service 9 clockwise - Normal route to Macalpine Road, then continue via Macalpine Road, Birkdale Place and then normal route from Dalmahoy Drive.

Service 10 anti-clockwise - Normal route to Dalmahoy Drive, then via Birkdale Place, Macalpine Road and then normal route.

Road Closure - Craigie Drive

Closed for one week from Monday 1 March 2021

Services 5 | 10 towards Barnhill - Normal routes to Craigie Avenue, then via: Stannergate roundabout, Dundee Road, Ralston Road and then normal routes from Strathern Road.

Services 5 | 9 towards Ninewells Hospital - Normal routes to Strathern Road, then via: Ralston Road, Dundee Road, Stannergate roundabout and then normal routes from Craigie Avenue.

Road Closure - Pitkerro Road

Closed on Sunday 14 March 2021 (between Baldovan Terrace and Morgan Street)

Services 17 | 32 towards Whitfield/Fintry - Normal routes Morgan Academy, then via: Forfar Road, Clepington Road and then normal routes from Pitkerro Road.

Services 17 | 32 towards City Centre - Normal routes to Pitkerro Road, then via: Clepington Road, Forfar Road and then normal routes from Albert Street.

Road Closure - Pitcullen Crescent

Closed for two weeks from Monday 29 March 2021 (northbound)

Service 57a towards Perth - No diversion necessary.

Service 57a towards Blairgowrie & Dundee - Normal route to Main Street, then via: A93 towards Scone Palace, Stormont Road and then normal route from Angus Road.
