Blackheath Christmas light switch on event
From noon until 10pm, on Saturday 15th November, various roads will be closed in Blackheath whilst the Christmas light switch on event takes place. During this time, services 3, 3A, 4, 4H, 4M, 13 & X8 will be diverted.
Service 3
Heading towards Merry Hill
Buses will divert from Birmingham Road via Henderson Way, and High Street to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards West Bromwich
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
Service 3A
Heading towards Blackheath
Buses will terminate at a temporary stop on Birmingham Road, just before Henderson Way island.
Heading towards West Bromwich
Buses will pick up from Carlyle Road stop on Birmingham Road and follow the normal line of route.
Service 4
Heading towards Blackheath
Buses will divert from Oldbury Road via Mincing Lane, Bell End, Rowley Village, and terminate at the temporary stop on Birmingham Road just before Henderson Way island.
Heading towards Walsall
Buses will start from the temporary stop on Birmingham Road, then use Henderson Way, and Oldbury Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service 4H
Heading towards Halesowen
Buses will divert from Birmingham Road via Archer Way, and Long Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Walsall
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
Service 4M
Heading towards Merry Hill
Buses will divert from Birmingham Road via Henderson Way, and High Street to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Walsall
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
Service 13
Heading towards Blackheath
Buses will divert from Long Lane via Archer Way, and will use the temporary stop opposite Lidl to drop off customers.
Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will pick up from the temporary stop outside Lidl on Archer Way, then use Long Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service X8
Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will divert from Birmingham Road via Archer Way, and Long Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.
Heading towards Wolverhampton
Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
