Changes to Birmingham City Centre bus stops

From Sunday 5th January, there will be changes to bus stops in Birmingham City Centre as phase two of the Metro works is completed. The following services will be affected: 2, 3, 4, 4A, 23, 24, 33, 45, 47, 51, 61, 63, 65, 67, 68, 97, 97A, 822, 907, 907A, 934, 935, 936, 937, 937A, 997, 997S, X21, X22, X51, & FD

Services 2 & 3

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will terminate at stop MS4 on Moor Street Queensway.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will use Carrs Lane, High Street, New Albert Street, Moor Street Queensway MS16 and then the normal line of route.

Services 4 & 4A

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will terminate at stop MS5 on Carrs Lane.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will use High Street, New Albert Street, Moor Street Queensway MS16 and then the normal line of route.

Services 23 & 24

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will use NS1 outside New Street Station, Moor Street Queensway, New Albert Street MS21, Bull Street and terminate at PQ3 on Corporation Street.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will use Corporation Street, Old Square and the normal line of route.

Services 33, 51, 907, 907A & X51

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will use Lancaster Circus underpass and no longer serve Price Street & Ryder Street bus stops for Aston University, then James Watt Queensway, Dale End, Newton Street, Corporation Street, Old Square and terminate at stop PQ2 on Corporation Street.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will use Corporation Street, Bull Street, New Albert Street, Moor Street Queensway MS9, James Watt Queensway and Lancaster Circus underpass to rejoin the normal line of route.

Services 45 & 47

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will terminate at MS20 on High Street.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will use New Albert Street, Moor Street Queensway MS16 and then rejoin the normal line of route.

Services 61 & 63

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will use stop NS2 outside New Street Station, Moor Street Queensway MS8, Priory Queensway, Old Square and terminate at PQ8 on Priory Queensway.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will use Priory Queensway PQ8, Moor Street Queensway MS16 and then the normal line of route.

Services 65, 67 & 68

Heading towards Birmingham
Buses will terminate at stop PQ9 on Priory Queensway.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Services 97 & 97A

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will terminate at stop MS7 on Carrs Lane.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will use High Street, New Albert Street, Moor Street Queensway MS16 and then the normal line of route.

Service 822

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will use stop NS1 outside New Street Station, then Moor Street Queensway, New Albert Street MS21, Bull Street and terminate at stop PQ3 on Corporation Street.

Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will use Lancaster Circus underpass, and no longer serve Price Street and Ryder Street bus stops, then James Watt Queensway, Dale End, Newton Street, Corporation Street, Old Square, Corporation Street stop PQ1 for drop off only, Bull Street, and terminate at MS22 on New Albert Street.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will use New Albert Street, Moor Street Queensway MS9, James Watt Queensway, Lancaster Circus underpass and then the normal line of route.

Services X21 & X22

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will use NS2 outside New Street Station, then Moor Street Queensway MS8, Priory Queensway, Old Square and terminate at PQ8 on Priory Queensway.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will use PQ8 on Priory Queensway, MS16 on Moor Street Queensway and rejoin the normal line of route.

Service FD

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will terminate at MS6 on Carrs Lane.

Leaving Birmingham

Buses will use Carrs Lane, High Street, New Albert Street, and Moor Street Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route.
