Lyon Queensway, Birmingham City Centre Closure

On Sunday 20th September 2026, between 9pm and 5am, Lyon Queensway will be closed from Broad Street to Cambridge Street for a crane lift. Services 9, 12, 13, 126, X8 and X10 will be diverted during this time.

Heading towards Birmingham

From Broad Street, buses will turn left onto Oozells Street, proceed into Sheepcote Street, turn right onto St Vincent Street, turn right at the roundabout onto King Edwards Road, continue onto Cambridge Street, turn left onto Lyon Queensway, turn right onto Great Charles Street, and then rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will follow the normal line of route.
