Service 126 diversion

From 3pm on Wednesday 4th February 2026 until further notice, service 126 will be diverted due to delays caused by road works and temporary traffic lights at the junction of New Birmingham Road and Regent Road.  

Buses will divert from New Birmingham Road via City Road and Oakham Road in both directions. New Birmingham Road, between the junctions of City Road and Regent Road, and Regent Road will not be served during this time. This diversion should ensure that buses run as reliably as possible along the rest of the route.

Alternative stops

• Lower City Road, at the junction of New Birmingham Road and City Road
• Gibbett Hill, at the junction of Oakham Road and Regent Road
