Shirley Road, Acocks Green closure

On Friday 10th July 2026, from 9.30am to 3pm, Shirley Road will be closed between Olton Boulevard East and Acocks Green Village for tree works. During this time, services 1, 4, 4A & 41 will be diverted.

Services 1 & 41

Heading towards Acocks Green

Buses will continue along Olton Boulevard East, pass the junction with Shirley Road, continue Olton Boulevard East, left Dolphin Lane, and left Warwick Road.

Heading towards Five Ways

Buses will be diverted from Acocks Green roundabout, second exit Westley Road, continue Westley Road, left Fox Hollies Road, left Olton Boulevard East, and u-turn at Shirley Road roundabout to rejoin the normal line of route.

Services 4 & 4A

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will miss Acocks Green Village stop on Shirley Road.

Heading towards Solihull

Buses will follow the normal line of route.
