Shirley Road, Acocks Green closure

On Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th March 2026, from 9.30am until 3.30pm, Shirley Road will be closed between Shirley Road and Acocks Green Village for highway lining works. During this time, services 1 & 41 will be diverted.

Heading towards Acocks Green

Buses will divert from Olton Boulevard East, third exit Olton Boulevard East, left Dolphin Lane, left Warwick Road and terminate at the first stop on Westley Road.

Heading from Acocks Green

Buses will start from the first stop on Westley Road, continue Westley Road, left Fox Hollies Road, left Olton Boulevard East, u-turn at Shirley Road island and return along Olton Boulevard East to rejoin the normal line of route.
