Stechford Lane, Stechford closure

From Monday 1st to Friday 5th June 2026, between 7pm and 5am, Stechford Lane will be closed from Stechford Road to Bromford Lane for highway works. During this time, services 11A, 11C, 28 & 95 will be diverted.

Services 11A & 11C

11A towards Erdington

Buses will be diverted from Station Road, second exit Burney Lane, right Alum Rock Road, left Washwood Heath Road, u-turn at Southern Road cut out, return Washwood Heath Road, and left Bromford Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

11C towards Acocks Green

Buses will be diverted from Bromford Lane, right Washwood Heath Road, left Alum Rock Road, left Burney Lane, and second exit Station Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Service 28

Heading towards Erdington

Buses will continue along Alum Rock Road, pass the junction with Burney Lane, continue Alum Rock Road, left Washwood Heath Road, u-turn at Southern Road cut out, return Washwood Heath Road, and continue Coleshill Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Heartlands

Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Service 95

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will be diverted from Hodge Hill Road, right Stechford Road, first exit Coleshill Road, and continue Burney Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Chelmsley Wood

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
