Buses will be diverted from Sommerfield Road, left Clapgate Lane, right Carters Lane, right Spies Lane, right Hagley Road West, third exit Stoney Lane, right Quinton Road West, continue Quinton Road West, and right West Boulevard to rejoin the normal line of route at Barnes Hill roundabout.

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will be diverted from California Way, first exit Barnes Hill to roundabout, second exit Barnes Hill to next roundabout, second exit Barnes Hill, right Woodcock Lane, continue Cromwell Lane, right Genners Lane, right Jiggins Lane, and left Clapgate Lane to rejoin the normal line of route.

Service 48

Heading towards West Bromwich

Buses will be diverted from Castle Road, right Alwold Road, continue Weoley Avenue, left Gibbins Road, left Harborne Lane, and continue Harborne Lane to rejoin the normal line of route at the junction with Quinton Road.

Heading towards Hawkesley

Buses will follow the normal line of route.
