Majors

Wolverhampton's most famous fish and chip shop, serving traditional black country chips with their world famous chip shop batter known as the pot of gold. Majors first opened in 1975 by Major Spencer, who had a mission to provide the finest fish and chips. Bedders has historically been one of the most popular chip shops in Birmingham for many years. Bedders was founded by Doris and Billy Bedder in 1946 just after the Second World War and today is owned by Ian Simmonds who was a regular customer for more than 30 years, loving Bedders so much that in 2022 he bought the entire shop.

 

The West Midlands offers a fantastic range of options for fish and chip lovers, each with its own unique charm and flavour.
