Autumn has arrived! The mornings are crisp, the leaves are golden, and it’s the perfect time to head outside. There are loads of lovely parks across the West Midlands — and the best bit? You can get to them easily by bus!

Whether you're planning a family day out, meeting friends, or just want a peaceful walk surrounded by autumn colours, there’s something for everyone. No need to worry about parking or traffic — just catch the bus, wrap up warm, and enjoy the season.

Here are some of our favourite autumn parks you can visit by bus:

🌼 Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham

This Birmingham classic is full of autumn charm. Walk through leafy paths, explore the Japanese Garden, or enjoy mini-golf and the Nature Centre with the family.

✈️ Sheldon Country Park, Birmingham

Open fields, woodland paths and a small working farm make this park a nice spot for an autumn walk, with the added bonus of watching planes take off from Birmingham Airport.

🐿️ Winterbourne House and Garden, Edgbaston

A peaceful garden that’s especially beautiful in autumn. Take a calm stroll along the hidden paths, enjoy a picnic among the turning leaves, and soak up the seasonal colours.

🌺 Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Edgbaston
