West Dudley and South Wolverhampton service changes from 26th January 2020

Following our recent consultation on possible changes to bus services in West Dudley, the following changes will take place from 26th January 2020. 

Service changes from 5th January 2020

From 5th January 2020, there will be some minor changes to services in the Birmingham and Black Country area. 

Services 854 and 868 to Cheslyn Hay High School

After the end of the current school term (December 2019) services 854 and 869 will no longer be operated by National Express West Midlands. 

Swift / PAYG fares 2020

From 2020 we are removing the discounts on fares when paying by contactless, Swift Pay As You Go (PAYG) or on our mobile app. 

Contactless fares 2020

From 2020 we are removing the discounts on fares when paying by contactless, Swift Pay As you go or on our mobile app. 

Mobile fares 2020

From 2020 we are removing the discounts on fares when paying by contactless, Swift Pay As You Go or on our mobile app. 

Cash fares 2020

All cash fares are frozen for 2020. This means that fares will cost the same in 2020 as it did in 2014. 

£3 Evening ticket

From Sunday 1st December until Sunday 19th January 2020, our £3 evening ticket will be available to purchase via cash, contactless or on the mTicket app. 

Diversion to services in Birmingham City Centre on Saturdays

From Saturday 7th September 2019, a number of services will be diverted in Birmingham city centre on Saturday daytimes only until further notice.

Metro Extension - Five Ways & Broad Street Closures

There will be changes to bus services travelling into Birmingham city centre and along Broad Street between Monday 2 September and Spring 2020 as essential work to extend the Birmingham West Midlands Metro to Edgbaston continues.
