Published: 30th August 2022

Heading back to uni and looking for the best way to travel and study full time? Here are some important bits to remember when buying your student ticket:

  • If you are aged 18+, or 16-18 but are not eligible for a 16-18 photocard, and are studying for 12 or more hours a week. You can apply for a student pass here.
  • Proof of education will need to be provided within 10 days of buying your ticket. This must contain:
  1. Your full name
  2. Your course title
  3. Your course start and end dates
  4. The number of hours per week that you study or state full time
  5.  An official stamp or signature from your place of study

But don't worry, after you make an order with us we'll send you an email with all of this information in.

You will need to show valid student ID if requested by a member of staff whilst travelling. We do not accept digital copies of student proof.
