Providing an inclusive service on our bus network

Information to assist passengers who use buggies

National Express wants to provide an inclusive service on our bus network that is accessible to all, including customers who use buggies.

We welcome customers with buggies on our buses subject that the space is not required by a wheelchair user. Wheelchair users take priority of the space and you may be asked to vacate the space and fold your buggy if a wheelchair user needs to board. If the space is available, National Express buses can carry two occupied unfolded buggies. Our fleet is low floor to help those with buggies to access our vehicles with ease.

Please always ensure you:

• Park your buggy or pushchair clear of the aisle, and apply the brakes at all times.
• Keep hold of your buggy or pushchair at all times.
• Always stay with your child or buggy whilst on board.
• Don't hang shopping or other bags on your buggy as this may cause it to tip over.
