From Monday 23rd July until Friday 26th October 2018, Broadlands in Fordhouses will be closed in both directions to allow for resurfacing works to take place. During this time service 3 will be diverted and will be unable to serve the stop located in this street.
From Monday 3rd September until Monday 1st October 2018, Walford Road will be closed to allow for a National Grid upgrade to take place. During this time our 8C service will be diverted and will be unable to serve stops along this road.
From Monday 10th September until Friday 12th October 2018 between the hours of 9pm-6am, access to Lancaster Street will be restricted to allow for bridge repair works to be carried out. During these hours bus services running along this route will be diverted.
From Wednesday 26th September to Monday 8th October 2018, on weeknights ONLY between 7pm - 6am, High Street in Bloxwich will be closed to allow for resurfacing works to take place. During these hours, bus services that currently run along this route will be diverted.
The bridge over the River Stour on Bridgnorth Road in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, will be closed several times to enable bridge repair works to be carried out. This means that at certain times, service 10 between Wolverhampton and Perton will be diverted.
From Sunday 2nd September 2018, construction works to extend the West Midlands Metro from Victoria Square to Centenary Square in Birmingham city centre will begin. These works are expected to last until summer 2019, and will involve the closure of Paradise Circus, with some sections of Broad Street and Suffolk Street Queensway also closed to traffic.
From Sunday 2nd September 2018, National Express West Midlands and Diamond Bus will work together with Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) to provide a new joint timetable on services 31 & 32 (currently known as the 301 & 302), which will carry the new West Midlands Bus branding.
From Sunday 2nd September, Pipers Row will re-open in Wolverhampton City Centre following the completion of Midland Metro Alliance works. As a result, from this date a number of services will operate to revised routes and/or timetables.
From Sunday 19th August 2018, National Express and Diamond Bus will work together with Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) to provide a new joint timetable on the 42 & 43 services, which will carry the new West Midlands Bus branding.
Following an extensive public consultation, we will be making a number of changes to bus routes in the Dudley and Sandwell area from 2nd September 2018.
